At Pearls of Yeshua Children Ministry, the spiritual well-being of the children we serve is at the heart of everything we do. Recently, we were blessed to have Pastor Benard Tumwesige lead a powerful session of worship and prayer with the children at Pearls of Yeshua Elementary School. It was a day filled with joy, reverence, and spiritual rejuvenation that left a lasting impact on everyone in attendance.
A Day of Divine Connection
Pastor Benard’s visit was not just an event but a meaningful experience of connecting the children with God through heartfelt worship and earnest prayer. Through songs of praise and scripture-based teaching, the children were reminded of their worth in God’s eyes and His unwavering love for them.
One of the highlights was the collective reading of Jeremiah 29:11, which declares, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Pastor Benard used this scripture to encourage the children, assuring them that God has a beautiful plan for each of their lives, regardless of their current circumstances.
Teaching Through the Word
Pastor Benard also shared the story of David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17), using it as an example of how faith and courage in God can help overcome even the biggest challenges. He urged the children to see themselves as “mighty warriors in God’s army,” capable of achieving great things through faith and determination.
Another key scripture shared was Matthew 19:14, where Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Pastor Benard emphasized the special place children hold in God’s heart, encouraging them to seek Him in all aspects of their lives.
The Power of Prayer
The session ended with a deeply moving prayer, where Pastor Benard prayed for the children’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The children also had the opportunity to voice their personal prayers, creating a powerful atmosphere of faith and unity. It was a beautiful moment as young voices lifted their concerns, hopes, and dreams to the Lord, knowing that He listens and answers.
